Erol Bilecik regards it as an important social responsibility to give back to Türkiye's future the opportunities, experience, and values this land has given him. To build a stronger, more sustainable framework for the work he has long carried out in education and youth development, he established the BEEV Foundation for Access to Information Technology and Education in 2024.
According to Bilecik, wherever equal access to information technology is lacking, deepening inequalities emerge, particularly in the education of young people. These gaps in digital skills, knowledge, and experience affect not only individuals, but society as a whole.
BEEV aims to provide young people living in disadvantaged regions with technology products and scholarship support, to establish technology laboratories, to support promising ideas, and to develop partnerships that will help expand the mobilization effort for access to information technology.
